Originally from Queens, New York, Jenny moved to Maine at age 15 to attend the Sea School in Camden and later earned her Bachelor of Music in Flute Performance from the University of Southern Maine. She maintains deep ties to Maine and its musical community, having performed flute with Dave Mallett, Chris Neville, Tony Gaboury, Pixie Lauer, and Doreen and Joe Conboy-Barth. Her piano jazz trio has appeared in the Dimensions in Jazz Series and on WGME with news anchor Kim Block. She is widely recognized throughout the Mid-Atlantic region for her distinctive voice as a jazz pianist and composer, and is also an award-winning painter with numerous solo exhibitions across the DMV area.
Nathan grew up in Chevy Chase, Maryland, where the couple now resides in his childhood home. Together, they bring a deep musical connection and shared artistic vision to their performances.
At Head Tide Church on July 11, the duo will present selections from their diverse repertoire, including classic jazz standards, original compositions, and imaginative arrangements of music by Prince, The Beatles, and Leonard Bernstein.
