Alna’s very own Jamie Saft, a world-renowned virtuoso pianist, keyboardist, producer, and composer will perform with his jazz trio at Alna’s historic 1789 Meetinghouse. Saft has been featured with Iggy Pop, Beastie Boys, Bad Brains, The B-52's, Roswell Rudd, John Zorn, John Adams, Laurie Anderson, Antony & the Johnsons, and more. He has also composed a number of original film scores including the Oscar nominated “Murderball” and Sundance winner “God Grew Tired Of Us,” and has also scored extensively for Nickelodeon, MTV, VH1, Vice TV, NFL Football, CBS, and A&E. Join us for an afternoon of marvelous music in the best preserved of Maine's few surviving 18th-century meetinghouses.
